Anaïs Estrade completed her studies at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris Val de Seine, graduating in 2009. Eager to design architecture that reflects her personal philosophy, she pursued additional training at the Institut Français d’Urbanisme. After working in an architectural firm for several years, she partnered with Marc-Antoine Servella, driven by a desire for independence and to put her values into practice.
She incorporates issues of transformation, reuse and bio-based materials into the project development.
After obtaining his diploma from the École Nationale d’Architecture de Paris Val de Seine and a Master’s degree from the Politecnico di Milano, he gained experience working in Parisian and international architectural practices. In 2016, he founded the studio SAME, where he develops projects ranging from interior design to large-scale architecture, applying the same high standards to every project.
He aspires to make architecture a collaborative, sensitive and fair discipline by incorporating an artisanal and innovative dimension.
Marc-Antoine also teaches at the ESA alongside his work at the SAME studio.
Through his career, Flavio has developed a strong interest in both the design and execution of architectural projects. With experience in large-scale projects involving mixed-use developments, housing and office buildings, he also brings his expertise in BIM to the team.
Committed to frugal architecture, Pierre-Alain strives to apply its principles to the studio’s projects. He is also interested in the concept of the productive city and the interaction between urban and rural areas.
Antoine is driven by a commitment to constructive rationality and the sustainability of buildings, from the urban scale down to the smallest detail. He works on applying these principles to the studio’s collective housing and public facilities projects.
Originally trained as an architect, Julie is responsible for business development within the studio. She seeks out relevant synergies that align with the values and unique identity of SAME studio. Also responsible for managing tenders and ‘purpose-driven company’ coordinator, she analyses the contextual challenges of projects. She also contributes to the further development of the studio’s methodology.
